In his Telecompetitor review of the 2014 Cloud Computing Survey results, Andrew Burger cites a 500% increase in SaaS adoption, noting migration of existing apps to cloud-compatible versions as a key effort in the enterprise sector. And the migration continues: concluding that cloud adoption is strategic, Burger notes that the researchers found that nearly half (49 percent) of respondents said they are using cloud technology to fuel revenue generation or new product creation.
